Write a cover letter from a CV: paragraphs 1 and 2
1° After the famous “Madam, Sir,” which will occupy one line, we take a new line to talk about the announcement.
2° For paragraph 1 of the cover letter, I advise having the job advertisement in front of you in order to underline the “criteria requested” by the recruiter. Indeed, it is customary to include the criteria sought by the employer in the cover letter.
Part 1: Use the criteria requested in the advert. How can I use the criteria requested in the job offer? The best choice is to do it in the first paragraph of your letter to show the recruiter that you have understood their expectations.
- Please replace the words grayed out by the information on the advertisement, in other words, the requested criteria, and/or the name of the position.
